Pacific Power Foundation Grant:
CCHS is a grateful recipient of a $5,000 Recovery and Sustainability Grant from Pacific Power Foundation to fund community cat food. The need stems from the aftereffects of the Echo Mountain Fire Complex fire of 2020. Over 200 cats survived the fire and were spayed, neutered, and vaccinated by Central Coast Humane Society. Ten volunteers have worked tirelessly every day to provide fresh food, water, and shelter to the remaining feline victims.
